DK Quad (shortboard Replacement) If you love short boards and want to take your surfing up another level, The Kwad is a high speed option. We found lots of customers who want the speed and turning ability of their traditional fish style boards, however they want to surf in better waves and hollower conditions. This is the board for that! We call it the thruster replacer! Recently we have been making a lot for the points here & Bali too. We have found that the rounded pin tail is a great compliment to the rest of the DK's shape in hollower, better surf. We have a range of demos at the shop.
DQ Quad MODEL (Retro style)
You have seen lots around. Most guys riding them are getting lots of waves, Well Todays quads give you rail to rail zip like nothing else. Our Current model has a double vee with a rocket concave between the fins. The speed gained when you turn is elevating! You want to make sections and have flow? “The Quad follows the linage of its predecessor, the Twin Keel. The Quad has the same fin surface area and holding power as a Twin Keel, but with added release through the fins. This makes the board much more forgiving backside, and combines a more progressive and vertical approach to the blinding speed of the fish platform. “
Personally i find the Quad has a wider range of waves that they work in, having better holding power when you drive hard. where as the Twin fins have a little less drag and you benefit from that when the conditions are mushy and low powered!
